Swilent Chess Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Swilent Chess is developed and published by Swilent Talent Solutions. This policy explains how the Swilent Chess mobile application handles information. It applies specifically to the Swilent Chess app and does not describe unrelated activity elsewhere on the swilent.com website.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

The current version of the Swilent Chess app:

• does not require account registration;
• does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contact lists;
• does not use advertising, analytics, or behavioral tracking;
• does not sell user data or share app progress with third parties; and
• does not upload chess activity to Swilent Talent Solutions servers.

3. Information Stored Locally

The app stores the following records locally on your Android device so it can restore progress and rating information:

• completed learning lessons and best lesson stars;
• completed chess puzzles and best puzzle stars;
• your Swilent Rating;
• Rated Computer Match wins, draws, and losses;
• limited rated-match history; and
• internal IDs and timestamps used to prevent duplicate rating updates.

This information remains on the device, is not transmitted to Swilent Talent Solutions, and is used only to restore local progress and rating information.

4. Temporary Game Information

Player-entered names, current chess positions, move history, match clocks, and active Local and Computer Match state are used during play. They are not currently retained as permanent account or cloud data, although active match data may be held temporarily in application memory while you play.

5. Internet and External Links

Core chess gameplay, lessons, puzzles, and local progress work offline. Opening this privacy policy, the support page, the Swilent website, or email support may require internet access or another installed application. The app itself does not send learning, puzzle, rating, or game-progress data through those links.

6. Swilent Rating

Swilent Rating is an internal app rating used only within Swilent Chess. It is not an official FIDE rating or an internationally recognized chess rating.

Rating data is stored locally on your device and applies to Rated Computer Matches within the app.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

You can remove local information in Swilent Chess by going to:

Swilent Chess → About, Privacy & Data

• Reset Learning Progress;
• Reset Puzzle Progress;
• Reset Swilent Rating; or
• select Reset All Local Progress.

Clearing the app's Android storage also removes locally saved progress. Uninstalling the app may remove local progress. Because there is no cloud backup, removed local data may not be recoverable.

8. Children's Privacy

Swilent Chess does not knowingly request personal information from children and does not require an account. Parents or guardians may contact chess@swilent.com with privacy questions.

9. Third-Party Services

The current version of Swilent Chess does not include:

• advertising SDKs;
• analytics SDKs;
• social login;
• cloud accounts; or
• payment processing.

External websites or email applications opened by you have their own privacy practices.

10. Security

Local progress is stored using the device application storage. You should protect access to your Android device. No storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when app features or legal requirements change. The latest version will remain available at this URL, and the Last updated date will be revised when changes are made.
